I need to pull this one off the back burner and redo it.
This time I set up the lights a little different and a little more post processing. How does this work for all of you?

I like the idea but the execution is lacking.
Since this is a setup shot time spent perfecting it in a controlled environment will in the end make for a stronger image. The Lighting/reflections are uneven with specular highlights randomly placed. I suggest spending some time on the lighting and setting up a pleasing scene to shoot it in instead of cutting it out of the scene in post production. There is a great book regarding lighting, angles, reflections, etc that would be perfect for learning to light a scene like this (and many, many other situations). If you are interested it is called Light: science and magic. |
