Default Canon 1DX!

Canon have amalgamated the 1D and 1Ds lines into the 1DX. Release March '12.

FF, 18 megapixels, incredible new high iso ability, whole bunch of top end new video stuff, complete redesign.

From the specs it looks like a D3s body with a new Canon chip but I get flamed for saying that on canon boards :-)

Suffice it to say, if I could afford the very high price, this is the first camera that I've seen since my 5Dc that has ticked every single box, every one, for me. Perhaps I'll be able to afford it by the time I retire (35 years or so!)

And this means nikon can't be too far behind with their offerings!!!! Hopefully it will bring the D700 price down a little bit and I'll have a FF digitial snesor in my hands!
