Fahim,

Do you know if the pots are hand painted? Could be an old traditional skill?

In the second picture, I find a lot of connection. Seabirds standing on fences at docks or wharfs are immediately interesting. However, it's hard for me to compose a satisfactory picture. You have caught that mystery and also the dilemma. I have now lost judgment and interesting how good the composition is but rather am interested in the bird itself as a visitor, like the one that ones that came to Noah of old.

Another example of not seeing what is there but rather using it to go to one's library and finding the right reference and getting some deeper satisfaction, not from the answer but for better framing of questions.

So the bird, is not the bird, but all the matters it evokes. Still, is it a "good picture". I only know that it works for me!

Thanks for sharing.

Asher

Asher, much thanks for the time taken to comment.

Let me just say this..remove the seagulls from the docks, the fishing villages. Imagine the village, the fishing boats, the sky without these birds.

For me something would go completely amiss. That is secret of that little bird.

I am the visitor, here. The bird is filled with curiosity. With what intentions does he intrude my space?

Regards.

p.s I have reposted two frames. I did not like the previous ones.

p.p.s Hand painted? I don't know about these one.
