5 hours of preparation for 30 mins of photography? Gosh but these shoots take a lot of preparation!

Not that the photography side is in any way belittled but damn if there must be so much happening just to make that photo happen!

What are you talking about...I get about 10 minutes per shot for two hours of preparation per shot...It is incredible how little time I spend with the model. But I prepare the scenario prior to the model getting on set. Crazy business...

Think about movie making! The lighting starts maybe at 4:00 am, then srtand-ins, all sorts of set people, make up and the director might get things going at 8, p or 10 and shoot all day or to the night!

Then the editing room!
