seems that the MKIII is hitting the streets. I can get one here in Australia for $4870 USD. Just wondering how that compares to prices around the world (converted to USD)

Best price at launch is €4,100, which is $5,544 according to an online currency converter. I don't think they are shipping here just yet though. When the UK gets them, they appear in Ireland about a week later.
