looks like a touch screen lcd to me, with flashy software.

What's lacking is haptic feedback. Paper on a desk IS physical.

This is why the iPhone is a poor phone, for example -- touch-screen buttons instead of buttons that you can feel with your hand and use even as you look at something else.

It's made for tech journalists, not users.
