Fellow Photographers!
These are great times! You might have heard about the new 1D series flagships! We are having, in addition to the review to be published shortly an opportunity for experienced photographers with workflow skills in a particular RAW processing software, to contribute to an Interactive Review of Canon DSLR files: 1DsIII, 1DIII, 5D, D30 also the cute SD 800 IS. The results will be posted here according to topic. The first topic is going to be Natural Colors covering fruit, vegetables and metals. Ignore parts of other topics that might be adjacent to the grouping. If you would like to contribute, please post here and also send me a PM with what you would like to do. I am looking for a far different kind of examination of files, one that is only relevant to a serious intent to deliver images to a client or for one's art. So state the intent, since otherwise, the work cannot be framed. One might choose, for example SilkyPix over Lightroom or Aperture, just for the Fuji skin tones you might perhaps find easier to achieve, if that is so. Thanks for being a great community! Asher

This is great news Asher! :-))
Count me in on this project please. I could do anything, I have no preferences. I have a 5D, LR and PS CS3. Also considering to buy the new DxO 5 soon. Cheers, |

Hi Cem,
Thanks for your offer, I'll send you the first package as soon as part one of the review goes up. You'll just process the RAW files of each set get screen captures of key stages in your process and post in the thread for that heading which will be natural colors. We'll select some contributions as addenda to the actual review as well. Asher
