This is a fine specimen of an angler fish and they are very delicious.
So were you actually saying bon appettit to yourself before you ate it? LOL

Filet and remove skin
Broil on high until no longer translucent;
Serve with clarified butter and lemon.

Also known here as Poor Man's Lobster.

That is one ugly fish, Georg.

Yup! LOL, he reminded me of certain deep sea creatures that one would easily associate with an extraterrestrial look. Butt ugly is right!

Try wrapping fillets in bacon, sear on high heat, deglaze pan with a little white wine an lemon.....mmmmmm
