Studio, Portrait, Still Life, Lighting Equipment and Technique Continuous and Strobe Lighting. (The Sun is considered continuous!) Great ideas are really ten a penny! Technique in setting up the subject is, of course, essential. However, the ability to bring out form, texture, tonality and color is where the skill in lighting provides all the keys to engraving one's ideas on the delivered picture.

Nikolai,

Impressive. Can we have the base of the images, or is that the full frame?

So what are the shadowed rectangles at the base. Are these the lights?

Apart from being 4 times faster than any other smugmug uploader? ;-)
It now has a feature to browse images online and generate the Visual Bulleting posts - while taking into the account the little things like the image size ratio, etc. ;-)

Asher, uhm, I'm not sure I understand... what "shadowed rectangles"? The bench she's on? it's just a bench...

O.K.,

So what is sloping inwards to the center is then a foam exercise matt? It cuts off her calves, so I was wondering why.

I do like the pictures and will return to them.

It's a leather - comfy - bench covered with the bg black fabric.
