Default Mexican Wedding

Just sharing the joy.... some of my favorites.

bubbles

¿qué?

kiss for a new uncle

tia's secret

These were all done simply with the Nikon D200 / SB800 flash and slow rear curtain sync for the drama of movement.

Interesting effect, but I still like the last one best. The bubbles shot is sweet as well. How slow do you go with the shutter?

ISO was set at 1000 and shutter speed was 1/6 second @f4 so on rear curtain slow I think it splits the difference, ie. half the light calculated would come from the flash and half is ambient? I'm not really positive. Anyone else know for sure?

I would think that the ratio depends on how much ambient there was. In complete darkness it would all come from the flash, regardless of any other settings.
