Pao,

This is the most remarkable review of the growth and decline of a modern technology ecosystem!

It’s like the rise and fall of film or the Betamax tape from Sony!

Does anyone know the extent to which previously manufactured cameras are currently used.

How does this compare with the rise of the income classes of people who can afford such cameras or has the ubiquitous cell phone notbobly nade Photography part of everyone’s ordinary life, (like lipstick for women)?

or it is also cannibalising high end cameras?

At this rate in the next 3-4 years when the number of cameras sold has again halved, how many manufacturers will there be left?

Well not to worry: the positive side, a new camera today should last another ten years and byvthrn cell phones will be amazing or replaced by the floating command cube!
