We are about a week away from Eaglets!!! Here is a photo of the female taking off with the left overs of a Coot. The male flew in with it (after he ate his share), dropped of the food in the nest and then she took of with it to enjoy in an adjacent tree.

This is a great photograph and wildlife document, Eric. Just look at those talons, nothing can escape them!

Did you shoot this in the wild, or in a sanctuary?

That looks like a small rodent and the thoracic cage open and the viscera already devoured. Do they eat the skin?
