Gazania - how she "does it"

I already showed south african Gazania flowers here. Now I was wondering how she attracts insects, so I used my bee / butterfly vision filter and took some shots. Here the results.

Simulated Butterfly Vision

The pollen lights up strongly around the flower petals in the central part and they have a quite strong UV reflectance also.

Fasinating and beautiful.

FYI there is a typo in your photo bylines ("Klaud").

Thanks.

Best regards,

Doug

Typo corrected. BTW, the surname was wrong as well. Scmitt instead of Schmitt. I guess Asher should not edit in the middle of the night as it is error prone, lol.

@Klaus: This is a beautiful capture, thx for sharing.

Cheers,
(Cem who shouldn't reply using his smart phone as it too is typo prone)
