Looking for a used copy (good condition) of this famous "pump gun" :)
I can get new for ~ $1300, hence I'm looking for something a bit cheaper than that...

Nik, I presume you've done due diligence on this lens - folks either love it or hate it. I hated mine and sold it within months of buying it.

Mik, I love mine and I will never part with it.

I once bought a 400mm L f/5.6 prime lens after extensive testing, my 100-400 L IS was sharper wide open and I ended up returning the 400mm.

I have been using a borrowed copy for almost a year. You can sign me up for "love" category for sure:)

I would also consider a BigMa, but it does not have an IS version :-(, which I deem extremely important...
