Zakim Bridge, Boston

I originally posted this image in response to one of Asher's questions in the Layback Cafe. But it really belongs in this forum for any comments.

I did this shot back in November. It was one of my last shots on a Sunday morning visit to Boston. The good light had pretty much gone. When I got home I decided the lighting was really too harsh, so I really didn't bother working on it. The other day I was playing with the CS3 beta and grabbed this image to see what I could make of it.

One of the features I really like in CS3 are the curves presets. You can now do the same kind of "effect shopping" with curves that you could do with blending options in CS2. In this case I really darkened the sky to increase the contrast with the bridge. As usual any comments are welcome.

Officially this is the Leonard P. Zakim Bunker Hill Bridge (a name only a committe could love).

Nope, real photo

Looks to me rather as a rendering than a real photo.
Did you used some HDR-stuff?

Thanks for looking Michael. No, this was a real photo. The problem was it was shot about 45 minutes after the good light had gone. So the original was kind of flat. I darkened the background substantially and played with curves to boost the contrast to achieve the current version. There was only a single image used. I did use multiple layers, but HDR was not used.
