Yes, that is almost walking distance! That was in the burn area last years fire that burned all the way from Newhall/Valencia.

Really? Weird, I never noticed, even though I have been there many, many times and rather frequently.

However, things grow back so fast here, so it is highly possible that it was burnt and restored over some few months period that I didn't go there...
