What is it in your magic make-up that you are so often drawn to huge fires and seem to be just passing by when the sky is roasting?
Whatever the reason, you end up with startling images. Must be something about those hills.

hehe, maybe it's in my milk..:-)
I was playing with my Thor Colossus (http://nik.smugmug.com/gallery/2433831) again, and it turned out that it can be used to create this "comet trail" effect. So I planned this another shoot and took it specifically this way.
Then a few curves - and here you are!
