Very strong visual effect ! I think it could be reinforced by increasing contrast in the lateral zones.

Hi Bill,
I don't know whether you've considered the visual message as such, but I have immedieately associated this with space ships. Firstly with a space capsule docking with the now deceased space lab in orbit and secondly with the majestic spaceship in the movie 2001: A Space Odyssey.
Would you consider converting it to B&W perhaps? I think that it would be a stronger picture since the composition is very interesting with or without color.
