That's a very nicely executed portrait. Well done!
I agree with Nicolas, maybe try to get the hot spots toned down a bit on the nose and cheek (but that's just a nit).

thank you so very much-
I was using a d 700 and learning manual settings
the blue is my makeup and in


photographing the shots
the hugs and makeup was not seen darker skin is a challenge for me so far-
just a simple rub off not seen
and as far as the glow hot spot
the skin I found to be a bit more with oils-
you guys so much!

Charolette, a very beautiful and intense portrait. The blue spots are a very slight annoyance, but do not
detract from the passion of the capture, imho.

I am starting to understand manual settings now and not just auto with my d 40
and so far this is the best I could come up with-this was done with a d700 and was new to the 700
a challenge for sure
the subject is an intense spirit to be sure!
