Hi all,
I have noticed many times that LR doesn't interprets the luminance of the NEF Files, doesn't the colors and we know why that happens. Besides the obvious thing, I have noticed that Lightroom "produces" or misunderstands the amount of noise in the NEF Files, specially where the tonal values are just a few, I mean, in the shadows. LR Also produces a very noticeable posterization in the images. I have tryed several calibrations for my D700, but each of them does a different thing and they don't solve the problem at the end of the day. What really matters is the posterization in Lightroom, it's alarming.
Any clue?
(Avoid replyes like: "NX was made for NEF Files").
Best Regards,
Leo
