There is the spirit of the American Indian here. As if the red, coupled with the expression of pride, is the blood of a people lost. Regal in its portrayal of feminine strength, this is quite absorbing. Um...Wow.

Very creative indeed Charlotte, as is all of your work. I think we see a bit of ourselves in the faces of others. At least I can. I can also see the faces of others in my own image sometimes. I think that is one reason I do as many self portraits as I do. It's not always me I am looking at.
