Hi Cedric I really like the idea as the chain has so many rich connotations of security, protection as well as the inverse, bondage! So I like the subject and it's worthwhile. I have some feelings that it might beimproved without altering your intent. Here you have not shown the origin of the chain at that is because of merely 1-2 degrees of the angle of your approach or your height.

The second point is that the patina of peeling pain in the foreground is so detailed that it pulls us away from the incomplete chain.

I hope these ideas are helpful and don't damage you concept.
