This is the inside of a church in a little town that has been put together like little house on the prairie times. The outside looks like a little white church.

Is see a large vertical pipe on the right. Is that part of a wrought iron pot belly wood stove to heat the place?

Yes it was. This little place is not "really" lived in, but while it is open for tourists they dress the part and stay inside these stuctures all day. When we visited there were children sleeping on beds inside the houses. I'm not sure if they fire the stoves up very often because they open it during the warmer season but I imagine that they might if it gets cold enough.
