Paul, your images are wonderful of the countryside. Make me want to renew my acquaintenace with England with a different photographic eye.

So long as it does not involve long hikes and climbs!

Best regards.

Paul,

What a delightful composition of opposing diagonals and then a beautiful English green patch in the center. The trees just provide the minimum necessity of a vertical pattern to counter balance all the diagonals and anchor everything.

It works well as an attractive pictorial pattern and as a glimpse to a wonderful area that is valued for escape from the cities and where there is the longest walking path, the Pennine way, going all the way to the Scottish border.

There is rail connection and villages and nature to be enjoyed.

Fahim, hikes and climbs are where it's at most of the time, especially in this area. Thanks for your comment, I appreciate it.

Asher, you really do feel like your away from it all, off the grid so to speak...as long as you leave your cellphone at home. :)
Hiking in these parts and on the Pennine way can really make you feel as though your getting back to nature and appreciating all it has to offer to say the least. :)

Thanks, Asher.
