Hi,
Below is an image taken on a remarkable days walking in the Lake District on the Coniston fells. There was a temperature inversion on the day, so as we climbed steadily up we eventually broke through the low lying clouds, and had a day walking in sunshine.
This image was taken just as we were breaking through the clouds, and is part of the old abandoned slate quarries in the area. I could have done with using a graduated filter in the light, but there was a fresh bank of cloud about to roll in and cover the scene. As it was the image below was a merge of two different renditions of the raw file
