Default Share your supper with us

Take a ribeye steak and massage with olive oil and some black pepper. Heat the pan as much as you can and sear the steak for a few minutes on both sides. Add a knob of butter and flame with a glug of whiskey.

Simply serve with some chips (fries?), peas and a tomato fried in the pan juices.

Bon apertit!

Stuart

Hi Sandrine,

Thanks. I briefly wondered if I might have overdone the flames!

Regards,

Stuart

A "flambé" cannot be overdone, it's always "underdone" or "perfect". There is no other rating acceptable....

Yes, it's showing off in the kitchen, so what?
