Default EOS 1D3 and 1Ds3 - errant oil

Paul Gardner was king enough to bring attention (on the Pro Photo Home forums) to this notice from Canon:
http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/co...=2112&id=57853

It describes a problem on the EOS 1D3 and 1Ds3 in which excess oil on the reflex mirror assembly can be thrown onto the front of the sensor, causing ring-shaped blemishes in the image. (Paul also mentions the oil getting on the focusing screen).
