I saw your name with "Senior Member" below it. Well, that's a good title for your picture. She's a senior and is definitely part of her community and well respected by the looks of her! but why the black line around her shawl. Suspicious of fiddling with the controls!!!!

I see this woman as wise and proud as Moses in the "10 commandments" although the Charlton Heston impersonation is not quite obvious, but you see my point...

Very much appreciate you stopping by my post, madam.

As to religion, I am certain that most here are much more learned in that field than me.

As to movies, I stopped watching them long long time ago. I could look at the title and tell you who the goodies were and the baddies. Those who would be made to suffer and those that would save mankind.

I developed this skill into an art form. So much so that I could predict the who/what in animated flicks.

As for confusing Mr. Heston with Mr. Brynner not that big an issue. Mr. Brynner, too, was shocked!!

In terms of their historical characters, I figure out it's a more sensitive debate...


I just wanted to say that I see the woman as proud and the stick add such an elegance to her personality, Maybe I am the only one to see that.

She also reminds me of pictures of Gandhi.

What you have shown us most distinctly is the honor and beauty of all age
in America sadly so age is still frowned upon-all the botox and face lift stuff in order to stay "young"

in the face of this woman is beyond fleeting youth
but a a garner of life with seasons she has been through-
she is truly a beauty to be reckoned with-I would love a chat with such!
