I like all the pictures. The duck is my favorite since its sienna colored and I go for earth tones and is tranquil. I wish one could see its entire reflection.
I'm just glad to see the Canon 1DII is performing perfectly. What about the 1D Mark I and the Canon 20D? How much use to they get for bird work?
Also do you think you would do any better with the 7D or the Canon 1D Mark IV?

The 1DMK1 gets use as a backup sports camera with a 70-200, my 20D has not seen the light of day for over a year and a half now, will have to put up on the board.
I don't buy bodies that often, even through I have three at the moment. Would consider looking at the MKIII once the MKIV has been released and all bugs if any have been worked out.
I don't mind not having the latest gear as long as what I do have works for me
You seem to be missing a gimbal mount for your bird photography or you have one? I suggest putting your list of gear on your personal info page not for some malevolent person to be able to shop their own gear.
Hi Peter,
All 3 images are very, very well done.
I especially taken by the second image.
Maybe it's just the background it was shot agains,t but it really catches my eye.
Good job!
