Red Fox and her Pups

While shooting my normal Eagle Nest I spotted a Red Fox running in front of me. To my amazement her Den is located with in 200 feet of the Eagles Nest. Photos taken in the evening in the shade.
These little pups are so cute!!!

Photographic luck comes to those who are prepared! That would be absolutely tragic but amazing if one of the chicks, a.k.a., eaglets, fell out of the nest and the fox was foolish enough to grab a tasty meal!
